Why the name Seven Oaks?

Before we can explain our name, we first need to show you the magnificence of Oak Trees.

Did you know...

  • Oak Trees mature around 75 years old, and have an average lifespan of 150-250 years! The oldest oak trees are over ONE THOUSAND years old!
  • They play an essential role in the ecosystem! They provide food and habitat for more animals than any other plant!
  • Oak trees first have one primary root that runs deep.  From that, Oak Trees then grow large lateral roots that go up to four foot deep and provide the support as the tree grows.  Then, grow the fine roots that take in nutrients and moisture from the soil to sustain the rapidly growing tree.

So, Why Seven Oaks?

As humans, we live to an average age of 75 years, but our impact can go generations deep! We want to guide you to think beyond your 75 years on earth.  What if we began to think about our life, not just in time on earth, but as the maturity moment for what our impact will be?  What would change about how you approach life? Conversations? Relationships? Work? Home? Family?

Our 75+ years is just the beginning of our impact!

When we think and act like Oak Trees, we produce SEVEN fruits for our generational impact:

  1. Faith
  2. Family
  3. Finances
  4. Fitness
  5. Fellowship
  6. Focus
  7. F(ph)ilantropy

Let's be oaks.  Let's think about 10 generations, not 10 minutes between tasks.  Let's think about providing protection, nutrients, and a literal ecosystem for our great-great-great-great-great-great grandkids.

Let's look at acorns and not be impatient with them.  Let us have the mentality of the oaks.
